Autofocus Mode
You can select how the camera focuses in movie mode.
When an HS movie option is selected in Movie options, the setting is fixed at Single AF.
Wind Noise Reduction
You can select the wind noise reduction setting used when recording movies.
The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting
mode (A 8). No icon is displayed when Off is selected.
When an HS movie option is selected in Movie options, the setting is fixed at Off.

Option Description
A Single AF
(default setting)
Focus is locked when the b (e movie-record) button is pressed to
start recording.
Select this option when the distance between the camera and the
subject remains fairly consistent.
B Full-time AF
Camera focuses continuously.
Select this option when the distance between the camera and subject
changes significantly during recording. The sound of the camera focusing
may be heard in the recorded movie. Use of
Single AF
is recommended to
prevent the sound of the camera focusing from interfering with recording.

Option Description
Y On
Reduces the sound heard when wind passes over the microphone.
Use when recording movies in locations with strong winds. Other
sounds may become difficult to hear during playback.
Off (default setting) Wind noise reduction is disabled.
