TROUBLESHOOTING
Operating Problems
SYMPTOM
The camera does not work.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1The power is OFF.
2The batteries are loaded
incorrectly.
3The batteries are
exhausted.
4The batteries are
temporarily unable to
function.
5Power has shut off to
conserve battery
consumption.
6It is connected to a
personal computer.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1Set the Power switch to ON to
turn on the power.
2Reload the batteries correctly.
3Replace the batteries with
new ones.
4Keep the batteries warm while
using the camera.
5Operate the camera as
required.
6The camera will not operate
while it is connected to a
personal computer.

SYMPTOM
No picture is taken when the Shutter button is pressed.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1The flash has not
finished charging.
2The card access lamp
blinks after shooting in
the mode.
3There is a problem with
the card.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1Remove your finger from the
Shutter button and wait until
the flash charge mark stops
blinking. Take your shot
again.
2The recorded movie image
data is being written to the
card. You can start shooting
again when the card access
lamp stops blinking.
