SYMPTOM
No picture is taken when the Shutter button is pressed.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
4The card is full.
5The batteries ran out.
6Indications disappear on
the viewfinder/monitor or
the control panel. On the
control panel, the battery
remaining power
indicator will blink.
7The memory gauge is
full.
8A write-protect adhesive
seal is placed on the
card or there is no card
in the camera.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
4Replace the card, delete
unwanted pictures or transfer
the data to a computer and
delete all of the pictures.
5Replace the batteries with
new ones.
6Replace the batteries with
new ones. (Do not open the
Battery compartment cover
when the Card access lamp is
blinking.)
7Wait until there is room in the
memory gauge.
8Insert a new card in the
camera.
9Set the mode dial to P, A, S,
M, S-Prg or .

SYMPTOM
The date recorded with the image data is wrong.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1The date was not set.
2The camera has been
left for approx. 1 week
with the batteries
removed and the date
setting is canceled.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1Set the date. It is also
possible to set the date via a
personal computer using
CAMEDIA Master. The clock
adjustment is not factory-
preset.
2Try setting the date again.
