Taking a picture of a moving object at night
With the slow synchronization ( ) mode, you can achieve interesting
effects when taking pictures of moving objects (such as cars ) at night.
Depending on the type of effect, you want you can select from “ ”-
1” or “ 2” in the Menu (p.110).
Select “ 1” to capture the subject at
the beginning of the shutter release. The
streak made by the headlights of a moving
car will come towards you.
Select “ 2 ” to capture the subject
at the end of the shutter release. The streak
made by the taillights of a moving car will
recede.
