SYMPTOM
The flash does not fire.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1The flash is pushed
down.
2The subject is lighted.
3The drive mode is set to

4Panorama recording is
taking place.
5The Picture effect is set
to WHITE BOARD/
BLACK BOARD.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1Slide the Flash switch to raise
the flash.
2Set the flash to Fill-In mode.
3Press the DRIVE button to set
to the single-picture mode.
4Stop Panorama recording.
5The flash does not fire in the
WHITE BOARD/BLACK
BOARD mode.
