Formatting CF Card
You can easily format your CF Card using
this operation.
Warning: Once formatted, all of your
image data will be deleted and
cannot be restored.
Important:
• While “PLEASE WAIT” is displayed, do
not turn off the Digital Camera or
unplug the AC Adaptor (optional)
because this will cause irreversible
damage to the memory, resulting in
reduced image storage capacity.

1Repeat steps 1 to 3 on page 38.
2Press or to select FORMAT and
press to display FORMAT menu.
3Press or to select YES
• To exit this menu, press or to
select NO and press SHTR.
4Press SHTR to format.
• “PLEASE WAIT” will be displayed on
screen as the CF Card is formatting.
Formatting is complete when
"NO IMAGE" is displayed.
