Stoptime—Displays the date and time the recording ended:
The date is displayed in mm/dd/yyyy format (mm = 2-digit month, dd = 2-digit day, and yyyy = 4-digit year).
The time is displayed in hh:mm:ss military time format (hh = 2-digit hour numbered to 23, mm = 2-digit minute numbered to 59,
and ss = 2-digit second numbered to 59).
NOTE: For the current track, the stoptime advances as the recording continues.
Duration—Displays the length in time of the recording in hh:mm:ss format (hh = 2-digit hour, mm = 2-digit minute, and ss = 2-digit
second).

Alarms—Applicable only to event recording mode (not applicable to continuous recording mode). Displays a red alarm icon to
indicate that one or more alarm events occurred during the recording.
Encoding—Displays the video compression standard used for the recording:
For a PelcoNet 4001A, Mpeg2 or Mpeg4 is displayed.
For a PelcoNet 300T/350T, Mpeg4/1 (encoder 1) or Mpeg4/2 (encoder 2) is displayed.
Note that the MPEG-2 list of recordings is blue and the MPEG-4 list of recordings is black.
For each recording listed in the recording selection area that displays a red alarm icon in the Alarms column (applicable to event recording
mode only), the alarm recording selection area provides a detailed list of the alarm recordings that resulted when an alarm was triggered
by the occurrence of an event. For each recording of an event, the alarm recording selection area displays the following information:
Number—Displays the sequence number of the alarm recording.
Alarm time—Displays the date and start time of the alarm recording:
The date is displayed in mm/dd/yyyy format (mm = 2-digit month, dd = 2-digit day, and yyyy = 4-digit year).
The time is displayed in hh:mm:ss military time format (hh = 2-digit hour numbered to 23, mm = 2-digit minute numbered to 59,
and ss = 2-digit second numbered to 59).
Alarm type—Displays the type of the alarm as “Alarm from device” to indicate that the alarm was generated from the PelcoNet
device.
Alarm description—Describes the type of the alarm:
UNIFIED_PICTURE—The alarm is based on the occurrence of a unified picture event.
VIDEO_ALARM_STATE—The alarm is based on the occurrence of a video loss event.
MOTION_ALARM_STATE—The alarm is based on the occurrence of a motion alarm event.
INPUT_PIN_STATE—The alarm is based on the occurrence of an alarm input event.
The alarm recording selection area can display a list of up to 256 alarm recordings at one time. The <<Alarms back and Alarms next>>
buttons are activated when the list of recordings exceeds 256.
From among the list of recordings displayed in the recording selection area, you may be able to do some or all of the following depending
on your user access rights:
Play the desired recording
Delete the desired recording(s)
Save the recording to the local hard disk or to any shared network resource
Take a snapshot of a recording
From among the list of recordings displayed in the alarm recording selection area, you can do the following:
Play the desired recording
Save the recording to the local hard disk or to any shared network resource
Take a snapshot of a recording
