Messages
Messages such as the following may appear on the LCD monitor during
camera operation.
Messages such as the following may appear on the LCD monitor when
using the PictBridge function.
No image & sound There are no image/sound files on the SD Memory Card.
Memory card full The SD Memory Card is full and no more images can be
saved.
Insert a new SD Memory Card or delete unwanted images.

Change the quality/size and try again. (p.108)
Memory card error Shooting and playback are impossible due to a problem
with the SD Memory Card. It may work on your PC. The SD
Memory Card is unformatted.
Card not formatted The SD Memory Card you have inserted is unformatted or
has been formatted on a PC or other device and is not
compatible with this camera. (p.120)
Card locked The SD Memory Card is write-protected. (p.18)
Data being recorded The image is being recorded on the SD Memory Card.
The protect setting or DPOF setting is being changed.
The movie is being recorded.
Camera cannot replay
this image/sound
You are trying to play back an image or sound file in a
format not supported by this camera. You may be able to
play it back on another brand of camera or PC.
Deleting The image is being deleted.
Battery depleted
Can not save image
The battery is exhausted. Replace with a new battery. If
using a rechargeable battery, charge the battery. (p.15)
Formatting... The SD Memory Card is being formatted.
Image folder could
not be created
The largest file number has been assigned to an image in
the largest folder number and no more images can be
saved. Insert a new SD Memory Card or format the SD
Memory Card. (p.120)
Image & sound
protected
The image or sound file you are trying to delete is protected.
No paper There is no paper in the printer.
No ink There is no ink in the printer.
Printer error An error message has been sent from the printer.
Data error A data error message has been sent from the printer.
Paper stuck The paper in the printer has stuck.
