Light used for monitor causes it to get hot. Close the
monitor or turn off the unit to cool the monitor down.
Due to high-precision technology, black spots or bright spots
may appear on LCD monitor. These are not recorded on the
tape.
Pressing on the surface or edge of the monitor may cause
blurring.
Try disconnecting power source. Wait ten seconds and then
connect power source again. If error number does not
disappear from viewfinder, consult your Authorized RCA
Camcorder Servicenter.
LCD monitor requires more battery power to operate than
the viewfinder.
If camcorder has not been used for some time, charge the
battery using the REFRESH feature on the adapter/charger.
Battery run times are measured when the camcorder is
recording continuously. You can check your battery by first
fully charging it and then aiming the camcorder at a clock
and recording the picture of the clock. When the recording
stops, play the last recorded section, and note the clock time.
A one-hour battery should give you about 60 minutes of
recording time. In practical use, you may not be able to
record for the full time because the camera uses battery
current when it is waiting between recordings (record-pause
mode) and while you focus and zoom.
