You can set the Noise Reduction
setting when shooting with a high
ISO sensitivity in [High-ISO NR]
of the A2 menu.
When [Custom] is selected, select
[Setting] and set the noise reduction
level according to the ISO sensitivity.
Choose the part of the sensor to use for measuring brightness
and determining exposure.
1 Turn R while pressing 2.

In [5. Link AE and AF Point] of the E1 menu, you can set
the camera to adjust the exposure automatically according
to the position of the focusing point.
Noise Reduction when Shooting
with a High ISO Sensitivity

Auto
Applies Noise Reduction at optimally calculated
levels throughout ISO range. (Default setting)
Low/
Medium/
High
Applies Noise Reduction at constant chosen
level throughout ISO range.
Custom
Applies Noise Reduction at user-defined levels
for each ISO setting.
Off
Does not apply Noise Reduction at any ISO
setting.

segment
The sensor meters the brightness in multiple
different zones. (Default setting)
In backlit locations, this mode automatically
adjusts exposure.
B
Center-
weighted
Metering is weighted at the center of
the sensor.
The sensitivity increases at the center
and no automatic adjustment is performed
even during backlit scenes.
C
Spot
The brightness is measured only within
a limited area at the center of the sensor.
Useful when the subject is small.
