Connecting to a Power Source
When using the battery, please follow these guidelines. Failure
to do so may cause excessive heat, fire, or explosion.
Ɣ If the battery is bulging or distorted, contact a Samsung service
center. It may present a physical danger.
Ɣ Use only the recommended battery charger.
Ɣ Do not place the product close to a re or any high temperature
source.
Ɣ Do not insert the product into the microwave oven.
Ɣ Do not leave the product inside a car during the summer.
Ɣ Do not place the product in a hot, humid environment.
Ɣ Do not place the camera on a carpet, comforter, or electronic
mattress for a long time.
Ɣ Do not leave the product turned on where there is little or no air
circulation.
Ɣ Do not let accessories like necklaces, coins, keys, watches, etc.,
come in contact with the battery chamber.
Ɣ Use Advanced Lithium Batteries with a guarantee from the
manufacturing company.
Ɣ Do not disassemble the battery or perforate the battery with a
sharp pin.
Ɣ Do not subject the battery or camera to high pressure.
Ɣ Do not drop or strike the camera or battery, or subject either to
rough handling or sudden shocks.
Ɣ Do not exposure the battery or camera to the temperatures over
60°C (140°F) degree.
Ɣ Do not exposure the camera or battery to water or high humidity.
Ɣ Do not expose the battery to sources of excessive heat such as
sunshine, re, or the like.
Guidelines for disposal
Ɣ Do not throw away batteries that no longer charge.
Ɣ Do not dispose of a battery by throwing it in a re.
Ɣ Dispose of the battery according to the envronmental laws of
your country, state, or area.
