Viewing your photos
You can see a much larger view of any thumbnail image
in the selection window by clicking the View Photo
button or double-clicking on the thumbnail. The file
name and its dimensions are displayed above the image
view area.
The size of the photo will be one-half the width and
height of your monitor’s screen resolution. For example,
if your monitor is set to 800 × 600 mode, the view of the
photo will be 400 × 300 in normal mode and 400 × 150 in
panorama mode.
Note:
The View Photo button is disabled when multiple thumbnails
are selected.
Enhancing your photos
To increase contrast, color balance, saturation, and edge
enhancement, and to reduce color smudge in your
photos, click the
Photo Enhance
button before you start
transferring your photos.
You can use this feature when you transfer your photos
using Export Photos button, Get Photo(s) button, or OLE
drag-and-drop.
You should note that when you use this feature,
transferring takes a longer time.
Rotating your photos
Use the
Rotate Photo
buttons when you want to change
the orientation of your photos. The photos rotate in a
clockwise or counter-clockwise direction in 90 degree
increments.
When you click a
Rotate Photo
button, the picture
rotates and the progress meter indicates progress. The
selected thumbnails are updated to visually reflect their
new orientation. When you use Save to Folder, Export
Photo and Get Photo(s) buttons, or OLE drag-and-drop,
the orientation of the image transferred from the camera
matches the thumbnail.
Using the Controls Menu
When you click the
Controls
tab, the Controls menu
appears. The Controls menu allows you to see a live
preview on your computer screen, take photos from
your computer, and change camera settings.
