If a high sensitivity (800) is set, the quality setting "1_9" or "rm_" is automatically reset to "_" (the
"_ QUALi_---_ _" appears).

When a high sensitivity setting (800) is selected_ the "_" and "_" quality modes are no longer
available. Only the ,,ml" ,,_'1" and ,,1_1"quality modes can be selected.

If a high-sensitivity setting (800) is selected, the quality setting may be automatically changed. When
the sensitivity is set to "AUTO", "200" or "400", check the quality setting and, if necessary, reset it
(=_P.32).

There are no restrictions on the sensitivity setting.
Taking pictures with a high sensitivity setting does not change the quality setting.
When high-sensitivity photography is selected, the available quality settings are ,,_m" ,,_" and "_".
If the quality setting was changed during high-sensitivity shooting, resetting the sensitivity to "200" or
"400" does not alter the quality.

Set the Power switch to "1_".
@Set the Mode dial to Still photography mode.
(_ Press the Photo mode (f) button.
In "_" Movie mode, do not set the "|r" FinePix COLOR
setting,

_Press "_1" or "_-" to select the "lie" FinePix
COLOR setting and then press "&" or "_" to
change the setting.
@Press the "MENU/OK" button to confirm the
setting.
_;;t/-CHROME may have little visible effect with some subjects,
such as close-up shots of people (portraits).
_ Because the effects on the image differ depending on the
scene being shot in F-CHROME mode, take pictures in
standard mode as well as this mode. Note that you may not
be able to see any difference on the screen.
_;t For shots taken in /-CHROME mode or /-B&W mode,
automatic quality adjustment will be suppressed on Exif print
compliant printers.
The contrast and color saturation are set to standard. Use this mode for normal
F-STANDARD (STB) photography.
F-CHROME (CHR) The contrast and color saturation are set to high. This feature is effective for taking more
vivid shots of subjects such as scenery (blue sky and greenery) and flowers.
F-B&W (B&W) This setting converts the colors in the photographed image to black and white.
