Always use a FUJIFILM AC Power Adapter AC-5VH/AC-5VHS (,-P.106).
Use the AC power adapter to avoid losing power at inconvenient times, such as when downloading
photographed images to the computer. Using the AC power adapter also allows you to take pictures
and play back images without worrying about depleting the batteries.
_ZOnly connect ordisconnect the AC power adapter when the camera is turned off.
Connecting or disconnectingthe AC power adapter whilethe camera isturned on temporarily interruptsthe power supply
to the camera, so that images or movies being shotat the time are not recorded. Failing to turn the camera off first can
also resultin damage tothe media or malfunctions during PCconnection.
Check that the camera is turned off. Plug the AC
power adapter connector into the "DC IN 5V"
socket and then plug the AC power adapter into the
power outlet.
_The socket-outbt shall be installed near the equipment and
shall be easily accessible.
_,_'The shape of the plug and socket-outlet depends on the
country of use.

Turn off the camera and TV. Plug the included A/V
cable (provided with the camera) into the "A/V
OUT" (audio/visual output) socket.

Adapter AC=SV.

Plug the other end of the cable into the video input
socket on the TV. Then turn the camera and TV on
and take pictures or play back images as you
would normally.

The "Camera Connection" section explains how to connect the camera to your computer using the
USB cable (mini-B) and describes the functions you can use once the camera and computer are
connected.
Refer to Section 5 the first time you connect the camera to your computer.
Do not connect the camera with the computer before
installing all the software.

If your PC supports USB 2.0 (High-speed USB), data can be transferred faster than with previous
USB versions.
JI_ DSC (Mass storage device) mode J
This mode provides a simple way to read images from a media and store images on to a media
(--P.100).
I I_IPC PC CAM (PC camera) mode I
This function allows you to conduct videacanferencing sessions between PCs connected to the
Internet.
Videoconferencing("PictureHello") isnot supportedon Macintosh computers.
Connection isonlypossible witha FUJIFILMcamera equippedwith a "PC Camera" function.

Change between "[2_" and "I_PC" in the camera's SET-UP screen.
