Installing Software
Before installing theUDF driver (DVD-RAM driver) on the CD-ROM provided with this DVD video camera/
recorder, make sure that another UDF driver* has not already been installed in your PC.

packed in the “DZ-WINPC1W”, “DZ-WINPC2W” or PC connection kit for
Hitachi DZ-MV100A DVD video camera/recorder, or in the “DZ-WINPC3W” PC editing kit for Hitachi DZ-
MV200A, DZ-MV230A or DZ-MV270A DVD video camera/recorder.
If another UDF driver has already been installed, uninstall it, and then install the UDF driver bundled on
the providedCD-ROM. Uninstall theprevious UDFdriver bychoosing “Add/Remove Programs” or“Add/
Remove Applications” on Windows
®
Control Panel.
If anyquestion messages appearthat mean “This file isnot used on another application.Do you wish to
delete it together?” during uninstalling, click “No” for all such questions.
