has occurred. In this case the
camcorders functions

brightness setting is too dark.

This is not a malfunction.

The DV cable was plugged/
unplugged with power

Check the section of the
manual that explains LCD
monitor/viewfinder
indications ( pg. 84 88).

Remove the power supply
(battery pack, etc.) and wait
a few minutes for the
indication to clear. When it
does, you can resume using
the camcorder.
If the indication remains
even though you repeat the
above two or three times,
please consult your nearest
JVC dealer.

To protect the battery, it is
recommended to charge it
in places with a temperature
of 10°C to 35°C (50°F to
95°F) ( pg. 89).

Push the viewfinder back in.
Adjust the brightness of the
LCD monitor ( pg. 18).
If the monitor is tilted
upward 180 degrees, open
the monitor fully ( pg. 18).

By recording with DIS
activated ( pg. 30) this
can be avoided.

Turn the camcorders power
off and on again, then
operate it.

Do not subject the
camcorder to shock or
excessive vibration during
transport.
Turn the camcorder on and
off. The lens cover closes.
