B Notes About Autofocus
Autofocus may not perform as expected (A62). Should this occur, try the following.
Frame another subject—positioned at the same distance from the camera as the intended
subject—in the center of the frame, press the b (e movie-record) button to start recording, and
then modify the composition.
C Functions Available with Movie Recording
The current setting for Shoot close-ups (A43), Photograph food (A 43), Shoot under
water (A45), Brighter/darker (A51), or More vivid/less vivid (A51) is applied when
recording movies. Confirm settings before starting movie recording.
The self-timer (A37) can be used. When the self-timer is enabled, the camera starts recording 10
seconds after you press the b (e movie-record) button.
The flash does not fire.
You can set the movie recording size (A 56) before you start recording a movie by pressing a
flexible button.
