The monitor is hard to see

The brightness is not adjusted
properly.

Adjust the monitor brightness. P.54

The monitor is exposed to
direct sunlight.

Block the sunlight with your
hand.

You are wearing sunglasses or
some other type of polarizing
glasses.

Remove your glasses.
The picture is out of focus

The camera moved when the
shutter button was pressed.

Hold the camera correctly.
Press the shutter button gently
using the ball of your finger.
When you take a picture with
the flash off mode or night
scene mode in a dark situation,
use a tripod or hold the camera
firmly.

standing in front of the camera
lens when you pressed the
shutter button.

If you press the shutter button
