Changing the setting menu configuration
The setting menu can be configured by selecting only the pages necessary for the application.
Pages are selected using the MENU SELECT page of the engineer menu mode.
When using the engineer menu, switch the unit to engineer mode as described below.
The unit is switched to user mode by setting the MENU SET/OFF switch to “SET”.
The unit is switched to engineer mode by holding down the SHIFT/ITEM and UP buttons simulta-
neously and setting the MENU SET/OFF switch to SET.
The user and engineer modes differ as follows.
User mode: Only the selected pages the setting menu can be used. The data set on each
page is written to the non-volatile memory, allowing it to be stored for extend-
ed periods of time.
Engineer mode: All pages contained in the setting menu can be used. In addition, the data set
at each page is written to the non-volatile memory, allowing it to be stored for
extended periods of time.
If, upon completion of the adjustments and settings in the engineer mode, the menu is set to be
configured only with the frequently used pages, the pages which are often needed can be called
promptly.
(Select the method using the user menu selection procedure described on pages 138 to 140.)
|Note{
The engineer menu will always open if the AJ-EC3 extension control unit (optional accessory) is
connected to the unit and the unit is operated from an external source.
