2 Turn the MENU knob to select a file to
load and press the knob.
To load a file in a USB flash drive (in UDF mode)
1 Connect a USB flash drive formatted
with the FAT32 file system to the
external device connector (see page 73).
A file list appears.
Note
The file list displays up to 64 files.
Even if the total number of planning metadata files
is 64 or less, all of the planning metadata files may
not appear if the directory where they are located on
the USB flash driver (General/Sony/Planning)
contains 512 or more files.
2 Turn the MENU knob to select a file to
load and press the knob.
To display detailed information in
planning metadata
After loading planning metadata into this unit,
you can check the detailed information that it
contains, such as file names, date and time of
creation, and titles.
1 Under OPERATION >Plan.Metadata
>Properties in the setup menu, select
[Execute].
2 Turn the MENU knob to select
[Execute], and then press the knob.
The PLANNING METADATA
PROPERTIES list appears.
The list contains the following information.
a) Material group: A group of clips recorded with
the same planning metadata.
You can turn the MENU knob to scroll the
list.
After turning the MENU knob to select an
item, you can press the SET button to display
the selected item only.
To clear the planning metadata loaded
1 Under OPERATION >Plan.Metadata
>Clear in the setup menu, select
[Execute].
2 Turn the MENU knob to select
[Execute], and then press the knob.
Deletion of the file starts.
The message “Clear Planning Metadata File
OK” appears when the deletion finishes.
The following two types of clip name strings can
be written in a planning metadata file.
The ASCII format name that appears in the
viewfinder
The UTF-8 format name that is actually
registered as the clip name
You can select which type of clip name is
displayed with OPERAION >Planning Metadata
>Clip Name Disp in the setup menu.
