Problem Cause(s) Solution(s)
Camera will not shoot
Battery fails prematurely
•Wait to press the shutter button
until the flash charges, the
mark
changes from flashing to a steady
light and the indicator shines red.
•Firmly close and lock the CF card slot
cover.
•Replace the CF card.
•Load the data of the CF card to a
computer and erase all or some of
the card’s images to create space.
•The logic circuits of the CF card may
be faulty or damaged. Please consult
the nearest Canon Customer
Support Help Desk.
•Restrict use of the battery pack to
places with ambient temperatures
over 0°C. When taking shots in
relatively cold conditions, keep the
camera warm next to your body or
in a pocket.
