Scanning Thick Plastic Cards [Feed Mode]
(fi-6140Z/fi-6240Z)
When you use fi-6140Z/fi-6240Z to scan at 200 dpi (60 ppm)
in landscape, plastic cards with a thickness up to 1.4 mm can
be scanned.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
Refer to "9.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel" (page 153).
2 From the listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2] J
[Feed Mode].
3 Specify the feed mode.
To scan a plastic card up to 1.4 mm thick, select [Thick cards (1.25
mm or more)].
Scanning speed slows down when you select [Thick
cards (1.25 mm or more)].
