Compose the picture as described in the basic
recording section (p. 33). Press and hold the shutter-
release button all the way down (1) to begin taking
pictures. The camera continues to record images
until the maximum number has been taken or the
shutter button is released.
The built-in flash can be used with standard and high-
speed continuous advance, but the rate of capture is
reduced because the flash must recharge between
frames.

To change function dial or Digital Effects
Controller settings quickly, simply press
and hold the center dial or controller
button (1) and select the setting with the
front and rear control dials (2). Release
the center button of the function dial or
Digital Effects Controller to set the
change. The exposure-compensation
button can be operated the same way.
