Playback functions
This allows you to display detailed information about the
image.
Luminance information can also be displayed with histogram
and highlight graphs.
Press the INFO button repeatedly until the desired
information is displayed. You can also switch the
information displayed by turning the dial while pressing
the INFO button.
• This setting is stored and will be shown the next time the
information display is called up.
*1 It is displayed when “G/INFO SETTINGS” (gP. 109) is [ON].
To quickly switch to the frequently used display:
j You can hide the information display for all modes except “Simplified display”.

brightness of the

displayed in a histogram
(brightness component
graph).
Over- or underexposed parts of the recorded image are
displayed.
Highlights (overexposed) parts will be shown in red.
Shadows (underexposed) parts will be shown in blue.
*Histogram
If the bars in the histogram are
higher on the right, the image may
be too bright. If the bars are higher
on the left, the image may be too
dark. Compensate the exposure or
shoot again.
