Recording Video Using the External Camera Module
Using External Camera Module accessory, enjoying sports activity can be directly recorded.
Before using, insert batteries in External Camera Module.
First, setup the External Camera in the Video In mode. (See page 39)

Using the External Camera Module : Connecting the External Camera
Module (SC-X105L/X110L only)
1. Connect the extension cable to the AV Input/Output
terminal of the CAM. You can connect the External Camera
Module Controller’s connector to the AV Input/Output
terminal of the CAM.
2. Connect the extension cable to the External Camera
Module Controller’s connector. You may fix the External
Camera using Tripod Receptacle or Mounting Band.
1. Press the [Power] button on the External Camera Module.
2. Press the [Record Start/Stop] button on the External
Camera Controller to start recording.
◆ LED lamp lights in red.
The elapsed and remaining times are displayed and it starts recording.
3. Press the [Record Start/Stop] button again to stop recording.
◆ It stops recording and the CAM is ready again.
4. Press the [Power] button again to turn off the External Camera Module.

When the External Camera Module is connected, [Record/Stop] button of the main set does not operate.

When recording signal from the External Camera Module, the [Power] button of the External Camera Module does not operate.

Do not connect the Cradle when the Line Input of the set is in use.

Module does not operate.

If you set the Hold function with the MP3/External Camera Hold switch, you can’t delete, lock or copy music files. You can only use Power
switch and volume [+]/[-] buttons.
