c Shoot the image.
You can shoot up to seven images
when you press and hold the shutter
button.
You can do the next shooting after
“Recording” disappears from the
screen.
To return to normal mode
In Step 2, select [Normal].
The flash cannot be used.
When [Mode] (REC Mode) is not set to
[Normal], you cannot use the Burst mode.
You may not be able to use the Burst mode
depending on the Scene Selection mode
(page 37).
When using the self-timer, pressing the shutter
button records up to seven images in
succession.
You cannot select shutter speeds of 1/25 second
or slower.
Shooting in Multi
Burst mode
– Multi Burst
Mode dial: /P/S/A/M/SCN
Pressing the shutter button once records 16
frames in a row. This is convenient for
checking your form in sports, for example.
a Set the mode dial to , P, S,
A, M or SCN.
b Press and hold /BRK (Burst)
and select (Multi Burst)
with the command dial.
c Press MENU.
The menu appears.
d Select (Interval) with b/B,
then select the desired
between-frame interval with v/
V.
You can choose from [1/7.5], [1/15],
[1/30].
e Shoot the image.
16 frames in a row will be recorded in
a single image (image size: 1M).
