Creating a Playlist
Chapter 3 Basic Operations
Select the layer in the Screen Layout window, right-
click it, then select a size command, such as [Full-
Screen Size], [Half-Screen Size on Left], [Quarter-
Screen Size], or [Original Size].
Those size commands can be used for the “Graphics
1,” “Graphics 2,” and “Video” layers. However, if a
web page is specified on the “Graphics 1” or
“Graphics 2” layer, [Original Size] does not work, as
the VSPA-D7 software cannot recognize the size of
the web page.
To apply layout settings of another template, select
the desired one from the “Template” drop-down list
box in the “Layout Setup” window.
When you select one of the templates, the positions
and sizes of the layers specified in that template will
be applied.
Change the values of the relevant text boxes in the
“Layout Setup” window.
Changing the values changes the position and/or size
of the layer(s) accordingly.
Place check marks in the “Original Aspect Ratio”
check boxes in the “Layout Setup” window.
When you click the layer in the “Screen Layout”
window after placing a check mark for that layer, the
aspect ratio of that layer returns to that of the
original. Then, you can change the position or the
size of the layer, while keeping that aspect ratio.
The “Original Aspect Ratio” check boxes are
provided for the “Graphics 1,” “Graphics 2,” and
“Video” layers. However, if a web page is specified
on the “Graphics 1” or “Graphics 2” layer, this
setting does not work, as the VSPA-D7 software
cannot recognize the size and shape of the original
web page.

Click [OK] in the “Layout Setup” window.
The position and size of each layer of the selected line
are stored in the playlist, and the “Screen Layout” and
“Layout Setup” windows close.
You cannot change the overlaid order of the layers.
There are various limitations in the position and size of
each layer of a player. After you finish creating a
playlist, make sure to check if the materials are displayed
as intended by previewing the playlist on a player.
For information on how to preview a playlist, see
“Preview on VSP-NS7 command” on page 44.
To return the modified settings to their original values,
select “Original Layout” from the “Template” drop-
down list box.
This returns the layout settings to the ones previously
saved in the playlist.
You can save the modified screen layout settings as a
new template here. Click [Save as New Template].
