Check the system time of each player in the “VSP-NS7
Communication Status” window.

Right-click the player for which you want to adjust the
time, then select [Adjust Time] on the popup menu.
A confirmation message appears.

Click [Yes].
Time information is sent from the PC to the selected
player, and the system time of the player is adjusted.
The player restarts.
Right-click the player and select [Refresh
Information], after restarting of the player, to check
the adjusted system time.
Updating Player Software
When a new version of software for the players is released,
you can distribute new software from the VSPA-D7
software to the players to update the players.

Obtain the file to be used for updating, and save it in a
folder which can be accessed by the VSPA-D7
software.

Click the button of the VSPA-D7
operation guide.
The “Maintenance” window set appears. The “VSP-
NS7 Communication Status” window is displayed.

Check the version number of each player in the
“Version” column in the “VSP-NS7 Communication
Status” window.

To update software for all players simultaneously,
click [Update VSP-NS7] in the “VSP-NS7
Communication Status” window.
To update software for an individual player, right-
click the desired player, then select [Update] on the
popup menu.
The “Select File for VSP-NS7 Update” window
appears, in either case.

Select the file obtained and stored in step 1, then click
[Open].
The software of the player(s) is updated using the
selected file.
The result of data transfer, and the updated software
version number can be checked in the “VSP-NS7
Communication Status” window.
Obtaining the System Logs of
Players
When there is a problem with players or playout, you can
fetch the system logs from players, in the following
procedure, to solve the problem.

The “Maintenance” window set appears. The “VSP-
NS7 Communication Status” window is displayed.

To obtain system logs from all the players, click [Get
System Logs] in the “VSP-NS7 Communication
Status” window.
To obtain a system log from a single player, right-click
the desired player, then select [Get System Logs] on
the popup menu.
