Epson PhotoPC 700 Digital Camera User Manual

The Display Panel
The display panel keeps track of how many pictures you
can take and gives you information on camera settings
and the battery level.
Checking Battery Power
When the battery power is almost out, a low battery icon
appears on the display panel. When this icon is
flashing, you cannot take pictures until you change the
batteries. When battery power runs out with the LCD
monitor in the Playback or View mode, the low battery
icon appears on the LCD screen for five seconds, then the
monitor and the camera turn off automatically.
You should use the low battery icon only as a rough
guide to the power remaining. Even after the low battery
icon appears, you can turn off the LCD monitor and take
several more pictures using the viewfinder.
Note that several factors can affect battery life, including
the surrounding temperature and the type of batteries
you use. Low temperatures (especially below 10°C) will
drain your batteries more rapidly. See 1-4 for information
about changing batteries.
