Diopter Adjustment
Rotate diopter adjustment ring for adjustment of
diopter.
Adjust so that A or B on aperture or black circle
indicating measuring area looks clear when ob-
serving object through finder.
Adjustment would be easy starting with 1˚ aper-
ture where object near aperture looks blur.
Make sure to adjust diopter before measurement.
Diopter should be adjusted for the eyesight of the
person who will be taking measurement. If diop-
ter is not adjusted before focus measurement,
correct measurement value may not be expect-
ed. This is because the focus is actually off even
if you think it is correctly in focus. In addition, if
diopter is not correctly adjusted, you may see the
aperture moving depending on viewing angle.
You sometimes see small black dots or stripes
in internal finder. This happens due to character-
istics of optical system, not dust or dirt in internal
finder. It gives no effect on measuring perfor-
mance.
