bright
(overexposed).
Adjust exposure compensation. 64
Areas not affected
by red-eye are also
corrected.
When V (auto with red-eye reduction) or “fill flash with red-eye
reduction” of the Night portrait scene mode is applied during
shooting, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix may, in very rare cases, be
applied to areas not affected by red-eye. Set the flash mode to
other than V (auto with red-eye reduction), select a scene
mode other than Night portrait, and resume shooting.

Skin softening
results are not as
expected.
Skin softening may not produce the desired results depending
on shooting conditions.
For pictures with 4 or more faces, try using Skin softening in
the playback menu.

Saving images
takes time.
It may take more time to save images in the following situations.
When the noise reduction function is in operation
When flash is set to V (auto with red-eye reduction)
When taking pictures in the following scene modes.
- Hand-held in X (Night landscape)
- Noise reduction burst in c (Landscape) or Close-up
- HDR set to other than Off in R (Backlighting)
- Easy panorama in Panorama
Continuous in the shooting menu is set to Continuous H:
120 fps or Continuous H: 60 fps
When using smile timer while shooting
When using Active D-Lighting while shooting
