Attaching the Shoulder Strap
1 Hold one end of the strap and thread it
through the loop on the left side of the
monitor.
2 Thread the end of the strap through the long
slider and move the long slider in the
direction of the arrow to secure.
3 Loosen the strap in the buckle, and then feed
the end of the strap through, as shown.
4 Draw the strap in the direction of the arrow
(Q), and then secure the end of the strap
with the short slider (W).
5-8 Use the same procedure to attach the other
end of the strap.
Using the Hand Strap
Fitting the Strap to Your Hand
Hold the camcorder against your chest, and pull
the strap down until the velcro patches open. Then
put your thumb close to the Power Zoom buttons,
pull the strap tight until it fits snugly, and seal the
velcro closures.
Caution:
• Do not swing the camcorder by its hand strap.

screen or expose the screen to shock, as it may
break.
• Do not put the camcorder on a table, or any
other surface, with the monitor screen facing
down.
• Use a soft clean cloth to clean the screen.
