Setup Menu
• Change the settings if necessary. (See
pages 22 to 25 for details about the
settings.)
• Menu items differ depending on the mode
selected with the mode dial (P6).
The following example shows how to set
[BEEP] when program AE mode [L] is
selected.
Select [RESET] to return the settings to the
initial settings at the time of purchase. (P24)

Press r to select the [SETUP]
menu icon [ ] and then press q.

• Press r at A to switch to the next menu
screen. Continue to press r to select
[BEEP].

Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
• You can also press the shutter
button halfway to close the menu.

About menu operations using the joystick
You can also use the joystick for menu settings.
1 Press [MENU/SET].
2 Move the joystick e/r/w/q to select the
item for setting and press the joystick.
3 Press the joystick to close the menu.
n About the menu screen items
There are 5 menu screens (1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 and 5/5).
• You can switch menu screens from any
menu item by rotating the zoom lever.
