A structure diagram for the Set Configuration menu is shown in the next figure.
To move up a level in the configuration menu hierarchy to the Main menu, press the LOAD/MENU and
TEST/SELECT switches simultaneously.
To exit the Configuration mode, press the LOAD/MENU and TEST/SELECT switches simultaneously from
the Main menu. The display will show the message which appeared prior to the drive entering the
Configuration mode.
"Busy"
Press the SELECT switch to toggle the Busy option between On and Off.
When the desired mode has been selected, press the LOAD/MENU switch to
select the next option.
"ModSel RA"
Press the SELECT switch to toggle the Mode Select Read Ahead option
between On and Off. When the desired mode has been selected, press the
LOAD/MENU switch to select the next option.
"MM SpinUp"
Press the SELECT switch to toggle the Media Management Spin Up option
between On and Off. When the desired mode has been selected, press the
LOAD/MENU switch to select the next option.
