More useful functions
Time lapse shooting
This function lets you take a sequence of pictures automatically under
preset conditions. It is useful, for example, for taking pictures at specific
intervals of a flower opening. You are recommended to use an AC adapter
(optional) when shooting over prolonged periods. If you are using
batteries, make sure that they are fully charged.

1 Set the [PICTURES] and
[INTERVAL].
ac : Selects the item or sets the
number.
bd : Selects the column.
Setting range Number of pictures: 2 to 99
Interval: 1 min. to 60 min. in
1 min. increments
2 Press N.
3 Press the shutter button.
The first picture is taken and the second
and subsequent pictures are taken
automatically at the preset interval.
L lights during time lapse shooting.
The camera automatically enters the
sleep mode after the first picture has
been taken and stored on the card. The
camera is automatically reactivated 4
seconds before taking the next picture.
The camera turns off automatically
when the preset number of pictures has been taken.
