Cuidados del paquete de batería
•Extraiga el paquete de la videocámara después
de usarlo y guárdelo en un lugar fresco.
Mientras el paquete está instalado en la
videocámara, una pequeña cantidad de
corriente fluye hacia ésta aunque el interruptor
POWER esté ajustado en OFF. Esto reduce la
duración del paquete.
•El paquete de batería siempre se descargará
aunque no lo utilice después de haberlo
cargado. Por tanto, debe cargarse
inmediatamente antes de emplear la
videocámara.
Interruptor del paquete de batería
Este interruptor posibilita marcar el paquete de
batería cargado. Ajuste el interruptor en la
posición de la “marca verde” una vez finalizado
el proceso de carga. (Al retirarse del adaptador
de carga, el interruptor muestra la marca verde,
mientras que al retirarse de la videocámara no
muestra ninguna marca.)
Duración del paquete de batería
Si el indicador de batería parpadea rápidamente
inmediatamente después de encender la
videocámara provista de un paquete de batería
completamente cargado, éste deberá sustituirse
por otro nuevo completamente cargado.
Temperatura de carga
El paquete debe cargarse a temperaturas
comprendidas entre 10°C y 30°C (50°F a 86°F).
Las temperaturas bajas requieren un tiempo de
carga superior.
Notas sobre la carga
Paquetes de batería nuevos
Los paquetes de baterías nuevos no están
cargados. Antes de emplearlos, es necesario
cargarlos por completo.
Recargue el paquete de batería
cuando desee
No es preciso descargarlo antes de recargarlo. El
paquete se descargará si lo ha cargado por
completo pero no lo ha utilizado durante un
largo período de tiempo. En este caso,
recárguelo antes de usarlo.
Battery pack care
•Remove the battery pack from the
camcorder after using it, and keep it in a cool
place. When the battery pack is installed to the
camcorder, a small amount of current flows to
the camcorder even if the POWER switch is set
to OFF. This shortens battery life.
•The battery pack is always discharging even
when it is not in use after charging. Therefore,
you should charge the battery pack right before
using the camcorder.
The switch on the battery pack
This switch is provided so that you can mark the
charged battery pack. Set the switch to the “green
mark” position when charging is completed.
(When removed from the charging adaptor, the
switch exposes the green mark. When removed
from your camcorder, no mark is indicated.)
The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcorder with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures
from 10°C to 30°C (from 50°F to 86°F). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.

A brand-new battery pack
A brand-new battery pack is not charged. Before
using the battery pack, charge it completely.
Recharge the battery pack whenever
you like
You do not have to discharge it before
recharging. If you charged the battery pack fully
but you did not use it for a long time, it becomes
discharged. Then recharge the battery pack
before use.
