When you have finished dubbing a
tape
Press x on both your camcorder and the VCR.
Using the Remote Commander
In step 3, press z REC and MARK
simultaneously, then immediately press X. In
step 5, press X at the scene where you want to
start recording from.
Note
Your camcorder records picture only for viewing
on PAL system based TV and VCR. See "Using
your camcorder abroad" on page 320 for the TV
colour systems used in each country and area.
If your TV or VCR is a monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video output jack and the white or
the red plug to the audio output jack on the VCR
or the TV. When the white plug is connected, the
left channel audio is output, and when the red
plug is connected, the right channel audio is
output.
If your TV or VCR has an S video jack
Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by
using an S video cable (optional).
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable.
Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video
jacks of both your camcorder and the TV or VCR.
This connection produces higher quality DV
format pictures.
Note on the Remote Commander
Your camcorder works in the commander mode
VTR 2. Commander modes 1, 2 and 3 are used to
distinguish your camcorder from other Sony
VCRs to avoid erroneous remote control
operation. If you use another Sony VCR in the
commander mode VTR 2, we recommend
changing the commander mode or covering the
sensor of the VCR with black paper.

Druk zowel op de camcorder als op de
videorecorder op de x toets.
Gebruik van de afstandsbediening
Druk in stap 3 z REC en MARK tegelijk in en
druk dan meteen op X. Druk in stap 5 op X bij
het punt waar u wilt beginnen opnemen.
Opmerking
Uw camcorder neemt alleen beelden op die
kunnen worden bekeken op een TV en VCR die
geschikt zijn voor het PAL-systeem.

buitenland” op pagina 320 voor een overzicht
van de TV-kleurensystemen die in alle landen en
gebieden worden gebruikt.
Als uw TV of videorecorder slechts geschikt is
voor mono geluid
Sluit de gele stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer aan op de video-
uitgangsaansluiting, en de witte of rode stekker
op de audio-uitgangsaansluiting van uw
videorecorder of TV-toestel. Als u de witte
stekker aansluit, zal het geluid van het
linkerkanaal klinken; sluit u de rode stekker aan,
dan klinkt het geluid van het rechterkanaal.
Als uw TV-toestel of videorecorder beschikt
over een S-video ingangsaansluiting
Beelden kunnen natuurgetrouwer worden
weergegeven met behulp van een S video-kabel
(los verkrijgbaar).
Bij deze wijze van aansluiten hoeft u de gele
(video) stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer niet aan te sluiten.
Verbind het S-video aansluitsnoer (los
verkrijgbaar) met de S video stekkerbussen van
uw camcorder en de TV of videorecorder.
Door deze wijze van aansluiten zult u
videobeelden met betere DV-kwaliteit kunnen
weergeven.
Opmerking bij de afstandsbediening
Uw camcorder werkt in de bedieningsstand VTR
2. De bedieningsstanden 1, 2 en 3 dienen om uw
camcorder te onderscheiden van andere Sony
videorecorders en bedieningsfouten te
voorkomen. Als u reeds een andere Sony
videorecorder met afstandsbedieningsstand VTR
2 gebruikt, dan is aanbevolen om eerst de
bedieningsstand van de andere videorecorder te
veranderen, of de afstandsbedieningssensor van
dat apparaat met een stukje zwart papier af te
dekken.
