Selecting the Recording Program
1. Set the camcorder to
CAMERA•
or
CAMERA•
mode.
2. Turn the mode dial to switch between the recording
programs.
The symbol of the selected recording program appears.
Do not change the mode during recording as the brightness of the image may
change abruptly.
Portrait mode:
The blur effect of the background increases the more you zoom to telephoto.
The picture may not appear smooth when played back.
Landscape mode:
Zooming out (W) can result in more effective shooting.
Sports mode:
The picture may not appear smooth when played back.
Slow Shutter mode:
- When recording movies on a tape, picture quality may not be as good as in
other modes.
- The camcorder may have difficulty to focus automatically.
