Setting Up Your Scanner
Install the EPSON TWAIN Driver
The scanner comes with two CD-ROMs: a scanner software CD-ROM with your
EPSON TWAIN driver, scanner software, and electronic documentation and another
CD-ROM with Adobe
PhotoDeluxe.
®
Use the scanner software CD-ROM to install
EPSON TWAIN. Follow the instructions for your operating system:
■ Windows 98, below
■ Windows Millennium Edition (Me) on page 12
■ Windows 2000 on page 15
■ Macintosh on page 18
If You’re Running Windows 98 . . .
You may be asked to insert your Windows 98 operating system CD-ROM during the
scanner installation. Please have this CD-ROM handy, in case it is needed. If you
don’t have your Windows CD-ROM, see page 45 in “Problem Solving.”
1. Make sure your scanner is plugged
into a power source and
connected to your computer; then
turn on your computer. The Add
New Hardware Wizard screen
appears:
2. Insert the scanner software
CD-ROM in the CD-ROM or
DVD drive, then click
Next
