Settings
Use this function to select the Dual IS mode.
Setting [ CCD-RAW] to [ON] disables the signal
processing functions (reconstituting the data received
from the CCD as an image) performed on the camera.
Consequently, this task must be performed on the PC.
Use the bundled FinePixViewer software to perform the
processing on a PC. Conversion using FinePixViewer
also provides a simple way to create TIFF-format images.
(Convertible file type will differ depending on your PC. For
details, refer to the help of FinePixViewer.)
CAUTION
The functions listed below cannot be used in CCD-RAW
mode.
- During shooting
Red eye correction, Digital zoom and Quality
unavailable.
- During playback
Playback can be zoomed up to 2.5×, but cropped
images cannot be saved and red eye effect cannot be
corrected.
CHECK
To rebuild images, FinePixViewer (on the bundled CD-
ROM “Software for FinePix”) must be installed on your
PC.
Use this function when it is difficult to see whether the
image is focused.
Set [FOCUS CHECK] to [ON]. The center of the image
can be zoomed in by turning the focus ring, and focusing
can be more easily achieved in this portion of the screen.
Take the picture, press the shutter button down halfway or
leave the camera for a while to return to normal display.
CAUTION
The Focus check function can be used in the MF mode
(p.71).
When using the Focus check function, set [ EVF/
LCD MODE] (p.122) to [30fps] in the [SET-UP] menu.
The Focus check function cannot be used when [
HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING] (p.99) is set to [ON].
[DUAL IS MODE]
[ CONTINUOUS]:
[DUAL IS MODE] is always set to ON in Shooting
mode.
