Focusing the shot quickly
([ HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING])
Available Shooting modes: All
Use this mode to reduce the time required for focusing
when pressing the shutter button down halfway.
It is useful to avoid missing snapshot opportunities.
CAUTION
[ EVF/LCD MODE] in the [SET-UP] menu is
automatically set to [60fps] (➝p.170).

With [ HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING] set to [OFF]
Wide-angle: approx. 50 cm (1.6 ft.) to infinity
Telephoto: approx. 2.5 m (8.2 ft) to infinity
With [ HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING] set to [ON]
Wide-angle: approx. 2 m (6.6 ft.) to infinity
Telephoto: approx. 5 m (16.4 ft) to infinity
• When taking pictures while [HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING]
is set to [ON], the battery will run down more quickly.
• When setting [. SPORT], the camera sets to [
HIGH-SPEED SHOOTING] mode automatically.
