Adjust the image outline (hard/
soft) ([ SHARPNESS])
Available Shooting modes: All except
B, ,
Use this setting to soften or emphasize the outline and
quality of an image.
[HARD]: Emphasizes the outlines. Best for shots of
subjects such as buildings or text where sharp
images are desirable.
[STANDARD ([STD])]: Best for ordinary photography.
Provides edge sharpness that is
ideal for most picture taking
situations.
[SOFT]: Softens the outlines. Best for shots of subjects
such as people, where a softer image is
desirable.
CAUTION
[ SHARPNESS] can be set only when [ FILM
SIMULATION] is set to [ PROVIA].

Adjust the color balance based on white to suit the color
of the ambient light around the subject.
[AUTO]: Automatic adjustment
[6 FINE]: Shooting outdoors in good weather
[7 SHADE]: Shooting in shade
[9 FLUORESCENT LIGHT-1]: Shooting under Daylight
