f Taking pictures continuously
Available Shooting modes: All
CAUTION
When [ CCD-RAW] is set to [ON] in the [SET-UP]
menu, up to 3 frames can be shot.
Available Shooting modes: All except ,
Shooting continues up to 50 frames as long as the shutter
button is held down (approx. 7 frames/sec.). Use this
mode when your priority is continuous shooting speed
over image quality, during continuous shooting.
CAUTION
[ FILM SIMULATION] will be set to [ PROVIA].
[ DYNAMIC RANGE] will be set to [AUTO].
The options of [ QUALITY] (p.89) are not available.
Even if you set the quality beforehand to 5 or higher,
the quality is limited to 3 or under. The restriction is
cleared when you select another shooting mode.
This mode cannot be used when [ CCD-RAW] is set
to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu.
Available Shooting modes: , N, M, <
The camera automatically varies the dynamic range
setting, and 3 frames are shot continuously in order of
100%, 200% and 400%.
CAUTION
ISO sensitivity is restricted. For details, see p.74.
This mode cannot be used when [ CCD-RAW] is set
to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu.

The camera automatically varies the [ FILM
SIMULATION] setting, and 3 frames are shot
continuously in order of [ PROVIA], [ Velvia] and
[ SOFT].
CAUTION

This mode cannot be used when [ CCD-RAW] is set
to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu.
[f TOP 7 (RAW 3)] continuous shooting
Shooting continues as long as
holding the shutter button
down. This mode shoots up to
7 frames (approx. 3 frames/
sec.).
