Applicable modes:
The focus and brightness can be set to the specified subject and position using the
touch screen.
From the Recording screen > [ ] > [Custom] > [Touch Settings].
¢1 This is disabled when Intelligent Auto Mode or Intelligent Auto Plus Mode is selected.
Sets the touch operations during recording ([Touch Settings])
[Touch AF]
It is possible to set the focus to the subject specified on the touch screen.
This is not available when [Focus Mode] is set to [MF].
Tap [ ] to cancel the setting.
[Touch Shutter]
Just by touching the subject you want as your point of focus, the unit will focus on
the subject and take the picture automatically.
Focus adjustment will not be carried out if the [Focus Mode] is [MF].
[Touch AE Lock]

You can tap to adjust and fix the brightness to suit the specified subject.
This cannot be used when setting the Manual Exposure Mode.
[Metering Mode] changes to the specialized [ ] mode.
Fixing the exposure turns on the [AEL] display.
Tap [ ] to cancel the lock.
[Touch AF Lock]

of [AF Mode].

of [AF Mode].

[OFF] You can also disable AF and AE operations by tapping the screen.
The setting is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
