Digital Exposure Metering Function
10 Press the four-way controller (5).
A pull-down menu appears.
11 Use the four-way controller (23)
to choose [Full Color] or [B&W].
Choose the color mode for display on the
LCD monitor in Digital Exposure Metering
mode.
When you have selected the color mode,
press the 4 button to return to the
[7 Dig. Exp. Metering] menu.
12 Press the 3 button.
The camera is ready to meter the exposure based on the selected
[Sensitivity], [Exposure Step] and [Color Mode].
1 In Digital Exposure Metering
mode, point the lens toward the
subject.
2 Use the zoom lever to determine
the area to meter.
While viewing the subject on the LCD
monitor, adjust the zoom so that the area
you want to meter is within the circle ({).
The Color Mode setting does not affect the metering results, but
selecting the color mode and type of film lets you envision the
resulting picture while taking readings.
Metering the Exposure
When the zoom is in the Tele position, you can use the camera as a
spot exposure metering.
