Taking Pictures

You can take pictures using a variety of digital filters.
1 Set the Mode dial to D.
The previously selected digital filter appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23)
to choose a digital filter.
You can choose from nine color filters:
B&W, Sepia, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue,
Green, Yellow and SOFT.
3 Press the 4 button.
The digital filter is selected and the screen
returns to capture status.
4 Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The focus frame turns green if the subject is
in focus.
5 Press the shutter release button fully.
The picture is taken.
Taking Pictures with Digital Filters
(Digital Filter Mode)
These digital filters are for use when taking still pictures. In Movie
mode, you can only choose B&W or Sepia for [Color Mode] on the
Movie screen on the [A Rec. Mode] menu. (1p.112)
The digital filter effect can also be added after taking a still picture.

Continuous shooting and auto bracketing are not possible when
SOFT is selected.
