Life of the Battery for the Remote Control Unit
A signal can be sent from the remote control unit to the camera
approximately 30,000 times. Contact your nearest PENTAX customer
service center if the battery needs changing. (A charge is made for
changing the battery.)
1 Press the { button when <(>) is
displayed on the LCD monitor.
The Fn guide screen appears.
2 Press the ( button.
The remote control screen appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (45)
to select [0 sec] or [3 sec].
4 Press the 4 button.
< or > appears and the screen returns to
capture status.
