How to Take and View 3D Pictures
As our eyes are positioned about 6 cm (2.4 in.) or 7 cm (2.8 in.) apart,
there is a very slight deviation between what we see with our right eye
and what we see with our left eye. The difference is processed by our
brain to produce a three-dimensional image. This principle is applied to
taking and viewing 3D pictures.
A three-dimensional effect will not be achieved if the subject moves
before the second image is taken. When taking a 3D picture of a person,
ask your subject to stay as still as possible, and then take the second
picture as quickly as you can. It is easier to take the picture if you use a
tripod or appropriate base.
