Taking Pictures
1 Press the ) button in Capture
mode to display 1.
The previously selected focusing area
appears.
2 Use the four-way controller
(2345) to choose the focusing
area.
Press the ) button to switch to autofocus.
3 Press the 4 button.
The focusing area is fixed in its new position.
To return the focusing area to its original position, press the )
button again.
You can change the focusing area in Macro or Super Macro mode.
1 Press the { button in the 1 and q/r mode.
The Fn guide screen appears.
2 Press the ) button.
The Focus Mode screen appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (45)
to choose the Focus mode
combination.
4 Press the 4 button.
The Focusing area screen appears.
5 Use the four-way controller
(2345) to set the focusing area,
and then press the 4 button.
The camera is ready to take pictures.
Adjusting the Focusing Area
The focusing area appears as a spot when it is being adjusted.
