Using the i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable)
Simply connect the i.LINK cable (DV connecting
cable) (optional) to DV OUT or DV IN/OUT
jack on your camcorder and to DV IN on the DV
products. With a digital-to-digital connection,
video and audio signals are transmitted in digital
form for high-quality editing. You cannot dub
the titles, display indicators, the contents of
cassette memory or letters on the “Memory
Stick” index screen (except DCR-TRV16E/
TRV116E).
Set the input selector on the VCR to the DV input
position if the VCR is equipped with the input
selector.
(1)Insert a blank tape (or a tape you want to
record over) into the VCR, and insert the
recorded tape into your camcorder.
(2)Prepare the VCR for recording.
Set the input selector to LINE (DV input
position). Refer to the operating instructions
of the VCR.
(3)Set the POWER switch to PLAYER*

(4)Play back the recorded tape on your
camcorder.
(5)Start recording on the VCR. Refer to the
operating instructions of your VCR.

Dubbing a tape
Använda i.LINK-kabeln (DV-
kabel)
Du ansluter helt enkelt i.LINK-kabeln (DV-kabel,
tillval) till DV OUT- eller DV IN/OUT på
videokameran och till DV IN på DV-enheten.
Med digital/digtal-anslutning överförs video-
och ljudsignalerna i digital form, vilket gör att du
kan redigera med mycket hög kvalitet. Du kan
inte kopiera titlar, skärmindikatorer, innehållet
från kassettminnet eller text på indexskärmen för
“Memory Stick”. (gäller ej DCR-TRV16E/
TRV116E).
Om videobandspelaren är utrustad med
ingångsväljare ställer du den på DV-ingången.
(1)Sätt in ett tomt band (eller ett band som du
kan spela över) i videobandspelaren och det
inspelade bandet i videokameran.
(2)Förbered videobandspelaren för inspelning.
Ställ ingångsväljaren på LINE (ingångsläge
för DV). Mer information finns i
videobandspelarens bruksanvisning.
(3)Ställ POWER-omkopplaren på PLAYER*
